據(jù)悉，馬士基航運(yùn)將收購漢堡南美旗下所有船舶、員工、運(yùn)力及其他運(yùn)營網(wǎng)絡(luò)，屆時(shí)，前者運(yùn)力市場份額將達(dá)到18.6%，運(yùn)力總規(guī)模突破380萬teu。漢堡南美共運(yùn)營約130艘集裝箱船，在全球250個(gè)國家和地區(qū)共有5960名員工。
馬士基集團(tuán)稱，此次收購將于2017年第二季度進(jìn)行。
馬士基集團(tuán)兼馬士基航運(yùn)首席執(zhí)行官施索仁表示：“對馬士基而言，今天是一個(gè)里程碑式的日子，我們很高興與漢堡南美達(dá)成協(xié)議。漢堡南美是一家優(yōu)秀的航運(yùn)企業(yè)，在全球有良好的口碑和忠誠的客戶。與漢堡南美完成交易，將讓馬士基航運(yùn)的發(fā)展更近一步，尤其在南北航線市場，我們將有更大的作為。”
漢堡南美董事會主席august oetker稱：“我們很自豪能夠加入馬士基航運(yùn)，通過馬士基航運(yùn)，我們可以獲得更廣泛的航線網(wǎng)絡(luò)。同時(shí)，漢堡南美將保持自有品牌和運(yùn)營模式，為托運(yùn)人提供更豐富且更有價(jià)值的服務(wù)。”
今年9月22日，馬士基航運(yùn)曾宣布將通過并購，擴(kuò)大市場份額。
“收購漢堡南美符合我們的增長策略，將同時(shí)增加馬士基航運(yùn)和馬士基碼頭的貨量。”施索仁表示。
施索仁表示：“漢堡南美和其巴西子公司aliança有具競爭力和吸引力的客戶價(jià)值主張，這是我們一貫的堅(jiān)持和保護(hù)。我們希望保持他們客戶的獨(dú)立接觸和合作?？傊?，未來漢堡南美和aliança的客戶不會變。”
合并后的服務(wù)網(wǎng)絡(luò)，漢堡南美和馬士基航運(yùn)的客戶將有機(jī)會獲得由漢堡南美在南北航線提供的端到端服務(wù)，以及由馬士基航運(yùn)提供的靈活的全球網(wǎng)絡(luò)服務(wù)。此外，合并后的服務(wù)網(wǎng)絡(luò)將提供更多的直接掛靠港和更短的運(yùn)輸時(shí)間，以確保馬士基航運(yùn)開發(fā)新的服務(wù)。
施索仁總結(jié)道：“我們合并后的服務(wù)網(wǎng)絡(luò)將有更令人興奮的機(jī)會來開發(fā)新的服務(wù)，并能更好的利用經(jīng)營的協(xié)同作用。漢堡南美和馬士基航運(yùn)的客戶將從更多的選擇和更好的產(chǎn)品中收益。”
收購的結(jié)果將服從于盡職調(diào)查，最終的交易協(xié)議并受中國、韓國、澳大利亞、巴西、美國和歐盟監(jiān)管部門審核。馬士基航運(yùn)表示，將密切關(guān)注相關(guān)部門的進(jìn)展。馬士基航運(yùn)預(yù)計(jì)，監(jiān)管過程將持續(xù)到2017年底。在此之前，漢堡南美和馬士基航運(yùn)仍繼續(xù)照常運(yùn)營。
maersk announces acquisition of hamburg süd
maersk line has announced that it has reached an agreement with oetker group to acquire german line hamburg süd.
while financial details of the transaction are yet to be revealed, hamburg süd has a fleet of around 130 boxships totaling some 600,000 teu in its fleet which vesselsvalue estimates is worth $1.4bn.
after the completion of the acquisiton maersk line says it will have container capacity of around 3.8 million teu and 18.6% global capacity share. the combined fleet will consist of 741 vessels with an average age of 8.7 years.
søren skou, ceo of maersk line and the maersk group, commented: “today is a new milestone in maersk line’s history. i am very pleased that we have reached an agreement with the oetker group to acquire hamburg süd. hamburg süd is a very well-run and highly respected company with strong brands, dedicated employees and loyal customers. hamburg süd complements maersk line and together we can offer our customers the best of two worlds, first of all in the north – south trades.”
both hamburg süd and aliança will continue as separate brands and serve customers through their local offices.
“hamburg süd and aliança have competitive and attractive customer value propositions, which we want to preserve and protect. we wish to maintain the personal touch and engagement they offer their customers. in short, hamburg süd and aliança customers will also be hamburg süd and aliança customers in the future,” said skou.
maersk has recently said it is after acquisitions rather than ordering new ships. its last containerline acquisition was back in 2005 when it bought p&o nedlloyd.
the acquisition is subject to final agreement and regulatory approvals, with the deal expected to be closed by end of 2017.
